Job Summary
The Senior Government & Enterprise Business professional will develop and drive sales strategies to acquire, manage, and grow key accounts within both government and large enterprise sectors across West Bengal . This role demands expertise in corporate and government sales, stakeholder management, and solution-oriented selling to ensure revenue growth and strategic business development.
Roles & Responsibilities
Develop and execute comprehensive sales plans for government departments, PSUs, and large enterprises in West Bengal to achieve growth targets.
Establish and maintain strong relationships with senior officials, decision-makers, and influencers in both corporate and government domains.
Identify, pursue, and manage high-value sales opportunities, including tenders, RFPs, and large-scale projects.
Collaborate with cross-functional internal teams (finance, legal, operations) to deliver tailored solutions for clients.
Monitor market trends, gather competitive intelligence, and recommend strategies to enhance business position.
Lead high-impact presentations, negotiations, and contract closures for strategic accounts.
Ensure compliance with government procurement processes and corporate governance standards.
Achieve monthly, quarterly, and annual sales targets while maintaining high levels of customer satisfaction.
Qualifications & Experience
Graduate/Postgraduate degree (preferably in Business Administration, Sales, Marketing, or similar discipline).
8+ years of relevant experience in B2B sales, government sales, or enterprise business development.
In-depth knowledge of government procurement cycles and enterprise sales processes.
Strong network and demonstrated credibility in the West Bengal market, especially among government and large organizations.
Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
Ability to travel within the State of West Bengal for client meetings and business development initiatives.
